Two years after the launch of Rose Hermès, this chapter of Hermès Beauty welcomes three new shades of blush with an iridescent finish, and a new-formula rosy lip enhancer with a glossy finish.
Rose Hermès, revealing beauty
While Rouge Hermès defines, affirms and emphasises, Rose Hermès diffuses more diaphanous, almost impalpable colour, like a halo of light, the aura of a smile, the glow of a fresh and radiant complexion. It is a slight hint of pink that blends into the skin with the lightest of touches, blurring or intensifying. Revealing natural beauty, Rose Hermès reawakens the complexion’s original radiance.
Rose Hermès Silky Blush, a trio of delicate shades
The case designed by Pierre Hardy, creator of Hermès Beauty objects, remains ultra-slim and functional. With its integrated mirror and magnetic closure, the white-lacquered disc and its golden base in brushed permabrass is embossed with the Hermès ex-libris. This rounded, lightfilled object is nestled in the house’s signature orange box.
The case’s powder refill is presented in a new eco-designed box made of thermoformed plant fibres.
From the lightest to the darkest, the three new shades joining the Rose Hermès blush range once again illuminate emotions.
35 Rose Doré: a radiant and elegant coral pink elevated by golden reflections.
47 Rose Ambré: a silky, slightly beige pink with a pearly shell-like shimmer.
58 Rose Cuivré: a powerful crimson pink elevated by dazzling hints of gold.
To the eye, Rose Hermès blush powder evokes the finely striated surface of silk twill. To the touch, it is soft and silky. The original texture of the powder has been enriched with subtle mother-ofpearl that gives it a delicately iridescent finish.
The formula contains vitamin E and white mulberry extract, together with emollients and mineral powders for light and comfortable application. The colour melts imperceptibly into the skin and the long-lasting formula is suitable for all skin types.
“This new formula in Rose Doré, Rose Ambré or Rose Cuivré can be applied not only to the cheeks, but also higher on the cheekbones, because it offers an iridescent finish that plays beautifully with the light. Light and colour become one, in pure fusion,” explains Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director of Hermès Beauty.
The intensity of Rose Hermès blush gives a make-up result from the ultra-natural to the more sophisticated. The powder offers a veil of colour with iridescent reflections, which can be adjusted to the desired result thanks to the Le sculpteur or L’aérien brushes from the Pinceaux Hermès collection. Both have a handle in lacquered wood and brushed metal, and their goat hair bristles, hand-assembled by a French brush-maker, ensure gentle application.
With a precise gesture, Le sculpteur allows you to define and sculpt contours for a sophisticated look. The powder is applied from the cheeks to the top of the cheekbones, finishing with a light touch on the temples.
The more sweeping gesture of L’aérien gives a naturally delicate result, “thanks to the greater diffusion of colour that melts into the skin, for a diaphanous finish with a beautiful sheen and luminosity,” explains Gregoris Pyrpylis.
Like the Hermès Plein Air collection, Rose Hermès blushes exude notes of arnica, sandalwood and green tea. The fragrance was specially created by the house’s perfumer, Christine Nagel.
Rose Confetti rosy lip enhancer, the lightness of silk
Matching the shade of the bullet, the delicate pastel pink of the band is inspired by one of the 75,000 colours of Hermès silk. Designed by Pierre Hardy, this new object brings a touch of freshness to the Rose Hermès collection. The lacquer on the band reflects the gloss finish of the product. Like the rest of the collection, the object is refillable.
Like Rouge Hermès, the rosy lip enhancer contains white mulberry extract. Its formula also features sesame seed and raspberry seed oils for their moisturising properties.
The shape of the bullet invites precise and generous application of the rosy lip enhancer, elevating the lips with its light pink colour and glossy finish. Like previous rosy lip enhancers, this new edition of Rose Hermès reveals the natural colour of lips with a touch of sheer colour.
27 Rose Confetti: a playful pink with hints of blue, whose radiance and freshness colour the lips with the lightness of confetti.
Its texture is inspired by Milo lambskin, a very smooth, fine material with a soft touch and a satin finish. Airy, almost imperceptible, it glides onto the lips leaving a light film with a second skin effect.
Created by Christine Nagel, the fragrance of the rosy lip enhancers exudes notes of arnica, sandalwood and candied angelica flower. This gentle, natural and feminine scent procures an immediate sensation of wellbeing.
The three new shades of Rose Hermès Silky Blush and the new Rose Hermès rosy lip enhancer will be available from May 2023 in a selection of Hermès retail outlets around the world.
